At his residence in Nelson Street, Mr. John Henry Andrews passed away on Monday morning. Deceased has been a respected resident of Mackay for about fourteen years. The late Mr. Andrews was born in Cornwall in 1858 and came to Queensland forty-two years ago. He first settled at Charters Towers, where he engaged in mining. Deceased took a great interest in Methodist Church work and was a trustee for his church in Mackay. He leaves a widow, and two sons, Messrs. W. H. and W. T. Andrews.
