Memorandum of an agreement made this 13th day of December 1756. Between Ursula Arnold of the Borough of Bodmin in the County of Cornwall Widow, William Arnold of the Same Gunsmith Thomas Poor of the Same Blacksmith and Catherine his wife and Sarah Arnold of the Same Spinster of the one part and Richard Bligh of the same borough of Bodmin Tallow Chandler of the other part as followeth.
First The said Ursula Arnold William Arnold Thomas Poor and Sarah Arnold do for themselves & their heirs hereby Contract and agree to and with the said Richard Bligh that they will on or before the second day of February next by Good and Sufficient deeds in the law at the expence of the said Richard Bligh …..
for & in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred and twenty pounds of goods & lawful money of Great Britain to be paid them by the said Richard Bligh as hereafter is mentioned as he the said Richard Bligh shall be or counsel advise grant & convey unto the said Richard Bligh his heirs and assigns all those messuages or dwelling houses with the appurtenances in the possession of Richard Arnold decd situate lying and being within the Burrough of Bodmin aforesaid in a sheet now called the Fore Street and that all persons interested in the title are to join in the Conveyances.
 
In consideration of the premises the said Richard Bligh doth hereby promise and agree to pay unto the said parties so conveying the same and making him a Title as aforesaid the Sum of One hundred and twenty pounds at or upon the execution of the said Intended Conveyances as Witness our hands
