THIS INDENTURE made the 31st day of October 1856 BETWEEN THE RIGHT HONOURABLE ANNE BARONESS GRENVILLE of Dropmore in the County of Bucks of the one part and EDMUND GILBERT HAMLEY of Bodmin in the County of Cornwall Gentleman of the other part WITNESSETH that in consideration of the sum of £80 on the execution of these presents by the said Edmund Gilbert Hamley to the said Anne Baroness Grenville paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged SHE the said Anne Baroness Grenville in execution of every power enabling her in this behalf DOTH by these presents direct limit and appoint and also grant and convey unto the said Edmund Gilbert Hamley his heirs and assigns ALL that plot or parcel of land called Pophams situate in the Borough of Bodmin in the County of Cornwall containing by admeasurement about one rood and fifteen perches late in the occupation of Richard Hender since of Charles Philp and now of the said Edmund Gilbert Hamley as tenant from year to year and numbered in the tithe apportionment of the said Borough of Bodmin 884 TOGETHER with all ways paths passages rights sewers rivers watercourses rights privileges easements commodities and appurtenances whatsoever to the said hereditaments or any part thereof belonging or appertaining or with the same or any part thereof now or hereafter held used or enjoyed or reputed as part or member thereof or appurtenant thereat And also the redeemed land tax thereon and also the estate and interest of the said Anne Baroness Grenville in the premises and every part thereof TO HOLD the said hereditaments and premises unto the said Edmund Gilbert Hamley his heirs and assigns TO the use of the said Edmund Gilbert Hamley his heirs and assigns for ever AND it is hereby declared that no widow of the said Edmund Gilbert Hamley shall be entitled to Dower out of the said premises AND the said Anne Baroness Grenville doth hereby for herself her heirs executors and administrators covenant with the said Edmund Gilbert Hamley his heirs and assigns that notwithstanding any act deed or thing by the said Anne Baroness Grenville made or done or knowingly permitted or suffered She the said Anne Baroness Grenville now hath power to grant the said premises to the use and manner aforesaid free from incumbrances And that the said Anne Baroness Grenville and her heirs and all other persons lawfully or equitably claiming through or in trust for her will at all times at the cost of the said Edmund Gilbert Hamley his heirs or assigns do and execute all such acts and assurances for further or better assuring all or any of the said premises to the uses and in manner aforesaid as by the said Edmund Gilbert Hamley his heirs or assigns shall be reasonably required IN WITNESS whereof the parties aforesaid to these presents (being first duly stamped) their hands and seals have set the day and year first above written.
