THIS INDENTURE made the 12th day of June in the year of Our Lord 1829 BETWEEN EDWARD PEARCE of the Borough of Bodmin in the County of Cornwall Gentleman JOHN MARTYN BLIGH of Bodmin aforesaid Gentleman SAMUEL WEST of Egloshayle in the said County Gentleman and THOMAS COMMINS of the said Borough of Bodmin Gentleman of the one part LYDIA ANN COMMINS of the said Borough of Bodmin Spinster of the other part WITNESSETH that for and in consideration of the sum of 5/- a piece of lawful money in Great Britain to them the said Edward Pearce John Martyn Bligh Samuel West and Thomas Commins in hand well and truly paid by the said Lydia Ann Commins at or immediately before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby authorised THEY the said Edward Pearce John Martyn Bligh Samuel West and Thomas Commins HAVE and each of them HATH examined and sold and in and by these presents DO and each of them DOTH bargain and sell unto the said Lydia Ann Commins ALL that lately now built dwelling house and backsides thereunto belonging and situate in Bore Street in Bodmin aforesaid heretofore in the tenure holding or occupation of William Stephens together with the rights members and appurtenances to the same belonging AND the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits of all and singular the said dwelling house backside and premises hereby bargained and sold or intended so to be TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all and singular the said dwelling house backside and premises mentioned and hereby expressed and intended to be hereby bargained and sold with the appurtenances unto the said Lydia Ann Commins her executors administrators and assigns from the day next before the day of the sale of these presents for and during and until the full end and term of one whole year thence next ensuing and fully to be complete and ended YIELDING AND PAYING therefore unto the said Edward Pearce John Martyn Bligh and Samuel West their heirs and assigns the rent of one pepper corn at the expiration of the said term if the same shall be lawfully demanded TO THE INTENT that by virtue of these presents and of the statute for transferring uses into possession the said Lydia Ann Commins may be in the actual possession of the said dwelling house backside and premises and be thereby enabled to accept and grant and release thereof unto and to the USE of the said Lydia Ann Commins her heirs and assigns for ever by an Indenture already proposed and intended to bear date the day next after the day of the sale of these presents and to be made between Thomas West and Catherine his wife of the first part the said Edward Pearce John Martyn Bligh and Samuel West of the second part and the said Thomas Commins of the third part the said Thomas West of the fourth part the said Lydia Ann Commins of the fifth part and Samuel John of the sixth part IN WITNESS whereof the parties aforesaid to these presents their hands and seals have set the day and year first above written
